Ying Lei Pham And Jayden Kai Marquez

Ying Lei (aka Lei) is a third-year student from Cincinnati, Ohio, majoring in the Politics Honors Program and the Echols Interdisciplinary Major Program. She joined the UVAMUN travel team in January and is ecstatic to chair at VAMUN for the first time! Outside Model UN, Lei conducts research for UVA's Law School, drug policy studies, and democratic backsliding, and she is a member of several policy advocacy/creation organizations, such as Virginia Policy Lab and Students for Equity and Reform in Virginia. And beyond academics, you can find Lei dancing (and hosting her own drop-in classes through ALMovement!), baking, working out, or exploring Grounds with her friends. She cannot wait to welcome everyone to Charlottesville!
