A heated debate surrounded by much controversy, the discussion of gender equality in Greek life is a pertinent one. As the modern world moves closer to equal rights every day, it is important to stop and consider whether or not these movements are carrying over in some of the most prominent organizations at our nation's institutions. This committee will look to explore how the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) can work to diminish gender inequality across the country.
Shriya Dodwani is a Second-Year studying Foreign Affairs and French in the College. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, she is an avid fan of horse racing and the Derby. Shriya has participated in Model UN since her freshman year of high school and went on to serve as the President of the UN General Assembly of her conference during her senior year. Outside of UVA’s travel Model UN team, she is on the executive board for IRO, volunteers at a daycare, and serves as an ambassador for the Echols Scholars program. In her free time, Shriya loves cracking open a cold Ale8, spending time with her friends on the Lawn, and exploring Charlottesville's food scene. She is ecstatic to serve as your Chair this conference!
